N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Holiday Dazzle Parade is right around the corner.

Friday, November 29th, The Main Street Downtown Association will be holding their traditional start of the Holiday season after Thanksgiving. The parade is scheduled to start at 7 PM. in McElroy Park.

According to Main Street Downtown President Nancy Miller, the Dazzle Parade had over 40 entries with several thousand people in attendance. There will be four trophy categories this year.
-Best Dazzle
-Most Original Theme
-Most Outstanding Amateur Built
-Most Outstanding Civic or Non-profit Float

Floats will be looked at for many different things such as motion, lights, creativity, holiday spirit and music. Judges select winners at 6:30 before the parade and floats will be awarded after the parade at the Gladstone Inn.

Letters and application blanks were sent out in October and the Main Street Downtown Association is asking participants to register as early as possible. If you didn’t recieve an application, contact Charlie Kourajian at 320-3015 or email the association at mainstreet@csicable.net.
