N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A one vehicle rollover four miles East of Medina injured two Minnesota men.
At 3:30 PM Thursday afternoon, 33 year-old driver Michael Kreuser and 23 year-old passenger Jacob Bendiski were headed Eastbound on I-94 when Michael fell asleep behind the wheel. The vehicle drifted into the ditch and awoke Michael. He then over corrected the vehicle and rolled.
Crews from Medina and Jamestown responded to the scene and Medina Fire Rescue used the jaws-of-life to extract Jacob Bendiski. Both were transported to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center. Jacob was later airlifted to Sanford in Fargo. Both men were not wearing their seat belts.
The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Department, Medina and Jamestown Ambulance crews and the Medina Fire Rescue crew all responded to the scene.
