CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The installation of the Automatic Metering Infrastructure systems load control management relay equipment has been put on hold for another 3 weeks according to Valley City Administrator David Schelkoph.
The delay is a major source of frustration for city officials scrambling to get the equipment installed for residents with load control devices before the extremely cold temperatures hit the region.
In June, the Valley City commission unanimously approved a contract for Cooper Power Inc; to install the AMI system at a cost of nearly $1.3 million.
