(NewsDakota.com) For the second year in a row, those who donated towards the Dickey County Relay For Life helped achieve special recognition from the American Cancer Society.

Dickey County once again took the top spot in dollars raised for the 2013 Relay For Life in the Great West Division with populations between 5,000 and 9,999. The total amount raised was $55,899.58 or $10.72 per person countywide. In 2012, the amount raised per person was $10.68.

The Great West Division consists of Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
