The North Dakota Department of Transportation is scheduled to replace signage and lights at an intersection of two state highways this week, and will host a public information meeting later this month concerning Highway 46 near Enderlin.

DOT crews will be out at the intersection of Highways 1 and 46 this week installing flashing beacons, a new electrical pole and overhead wire. The signal was damaged during a fatal semi accident earlier this fall. Traffic will only be impacted when workers are present on the roadway later this week. The project is expected to be complete by the end of the week.

The department has also scheduled a November 18 meeting from 5-7 pm at the Enderlin Auditor’s office to discuss proposed improvements for Highway 46 from the junction of Highway 32 to nine miles east of Enderlin. A formal presentation will take place at 5:30, with questions from those in attendance to follow.
