CITY, N.D (NewsDakota.com) The Valley City Hi-Liners cross country team finished off a strong season last weekend at the state meet. They recently wrapped up the year with the team awards.
For the boy’s team, Jack Jordan received the Rookie Award; Casey Engelhard earned honors for Sprit, Hardest Worker, and Most Valuable Runner. Mikey Meester was given the Most Improved Award.
On the women’s team. Mikaylah Ross was named as the Hardest Worker and Most Valuable Runner. Aislinn Fogarty received the Spirit Award, while Jessica Ronning was named Most Improved, and Eliza Schueneman was the Rookie of the year.
