(NewsDakota.com)- Six touchdowns were scored in the first quarter during Saturday’s NSAA conference matchup between the University of Jamestown and Presentation College. The Jimmie defense was able to make a few more stops and held on for a 49-41 win at Taylor Stadium. The win guarantees Jamestown a share of the first-ever NSAA title.

After the whirlwind first quarter the Jimmies held a 28-14 lead, thanks to a surprise onside kick and a fumbled kickoff. The Saints were able to move the ball at will on their drives getting big chunks of yards from Devin Mohn on the ground.

Late in the game with the Jimmies holding a 49-34 lead the Saints, Braswell threw his third touchdown on the game with close the gap with just 4:00 left. Presentation successfully completed an onside kick and had a chance to tie.
