(NewsDakota.com) An Edgeley woman sustained injuries after her vehicle collided with a semi-trailer south of town early Saturday morning.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 21 year old Chelsey Bitz was driving erratically northbound on Highway 281 three miles south of Edgeley around 3:45 a.m. when she collided with a southbound semi-trailer driven by 43 year old Shane Apple of Comanche Oklahoma. 

Bitz was taken to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center with undisclosed injuries. She was not wearing a seatbelt, and is being investigated for possible charges in the accident. Apple was uninjured.
