CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A fire damaged the home of Mark and Kristal Skramstad on October 4 in Valley City. Volunteers helped remove damaged items from the home so the family can move back into their house.

A benefit fund has been set up for the Valley City family. Insurance funds are not available to cover the cost of repairing the home. Anyone interested in helping the family can send donations to the Mark Skramstad Family Benefit Fund at Dacotah Bank in Valley City.
