N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Eventide family of senior living communities is expanding to include a new location in Fargo.

On October 8th Eventide hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for its new campus located on 32nd Ave. near the Scheels Arena. The project will offer the latest in senior healthcare design and address an increasing demand for private skilled nursing suites.

“Eventide is committed to expanding on our mission of service to seniors, recognizing that as Fargo-Moorhead grows, so does the need for quality health care,” said Jon Riewer, President of Eventide. “Thanks to the combined efforts of our employees, board members, and community partners we are able to deliver on the promise we made over 60 years ago – to lead the way in delivering high quality senior care and service.”

The new skilled nursing facility will provide 96 private resident rooms for long term care and short term transitional care. 70 senior living apartments are also planned.

In addition to the benefits of enhanced senior services, the new location will also create nearly 200 jobs for the F-M area. Construction is expected to take approximately eighteen months.
