(NewsDakota.com)- It wasn’t exactly the fall Dustin Jensen was hoping for with his stacked roster on the University of Jamestown men’s golf team, but the team showed improvement through the fall season. They finished 5th at La Crosse Country Club in Onalaska, WI yesterday.

The Jimmies were in third after the first day, but fell back dropping 11 shots on their day one total. Jamestown carded a 299 on day one, just three shots off Luther College for the lead.

Tommy Rockis carded a 70 on day one and a 77 on day two to finish in 7th place. Tyler Baukol’s 153 was second on the team.

The highlight of the fall for the Jimmies so far was their second round in Sioux City, IA that gave them second place at the Siouxland Invite back in September.

The Jimmies will host the Homecoming Shootout on Sunday.
