(NewsDakota.com)- The Jimmie volleyball team had won 11 of their last 12 when they welcomed in the University of Sioux Falls. Jamestown lead late in set three with a 2-0 lead, but couldn’t put away the Cougars who stormed back for a 3-2 victory (21-25,  23-25, 27-25, 15-8).

The Jimmies were one point away from victory in the third set, but Sioux Falls responded with two straight points to grab the lead.

USF began a three-day North Dakota trip with the stop in Jamestown last night, their trip also includes stops in Minot and Bismarck for NSIC matches. This loss was a script flip from what the Jimmies did to Sioux Falls a year ago coming from down 0-2 to win.

Jamestown will host Presentation tonight and Briar Cliff on Saturday at the always loud Hansen Center. Jimmies are currently 15-6.
