(NewsDakota.com)- The Jimmie football team will play their first ever North Star Athletic Association game Saturday when they head to Mayville. Despite the 0-5 start the Jimmies are shifting their focus from a tough early season slate to trying to win a conference title.

Mayville St. is currently 2-2 with losses against Midland University and Graceland University, Graceland plays in the stacked HAAC which currently boasts five ranked teams.

Jamestown will look for a better start this week as all five opponents have scored touchdowns on their opening drive this season. The Jimmies are getting outscored 35-3 on the opening drive. 

Kick-off for Saturday is scheduled for 1pm with the pregame show on 1400 KQDJ beginning at 12:30pm. The game will also be streamed online at NewsDakota.com.
