(NewsDakota.com)  The Cardinals played a non-conference match last night against the Raiders of Drake-Anamoose.  The Cards swept the Raiders 3-0 (25-10, 25-17, 25-16).  Carrington improves to 7-2, Drake-Anamoose drops to 4-3.

Madison Wendel led they way for Carrington with 11 kills, two stuff blocks and three serving aces.  Jacey Engelhorn had five serving aces, five digs and four kills.  Carrington as a team had 30 kills, 22 aces and three stuff blocks.

Kristin Reinowski had 10 digs, four blocks and three kills for the Raiders

Next up for the Cardinals is tomorrow night in Carrington against District 7 rival New Rockford/Sheyenne.  Matches start at 3:30pm with the seventh grade.  Varsity will begin about 7:15pm pregame on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com, first serve around 7:30pm.
