Post Chairman and CEO William Stiritz say’s the deal will expand the company’s portfolio into segments of the food industry where it sees opportunities to grow.

Post expects the deal to be finalized in the first quarter of 2014. The company said the deal will increase its revenue by $300 million for the year.
