N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has released the run report for the week of September 6th through the 12th.

In 2012, the Jamestown Fire Department responded to 254 calls. Below is a list of all the calls the Fire Department responded to this past week.

September 6th, 1:35PM, ready squad responded to 419 5th St NE, Legacy Center, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-appliance malfunction. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 40 minutes.

September 9th, 2:19PM, fire department responded to the area of 1st Ave North and the 300 Block, to a report of a vehicle smoking. Firefighters checked the vehicle and there was no fire. Cause-steam from leaking anti-freeze. No firefighter injuries. Time out 15 minutes.

September 10th, 11:40AM, ready squad responded to 205 6th St SE, 1st Congregational Church, to analyze for carbon monoxide. Firefighters tested for carbon monoxide, none was detected. Cause-faulty detector. Time out 20 minutes.

September 12th, 8:40AM, ready squad responded to 1204 10th Ave NE, Dumpster, to a report of smoldering trash. Firefighters water down the remains and investigated. Cause-possible smoking materials. Time out 20 minutes.
