CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) –  31-year-old Zachariah Michael Grotberg of Towner, North Dakota faces several felony burglary and theft of property charges stemming from a series of burglaries reported here in July and at other locations in the state.

Valley City Police Chief Fred Thompson said in a news release earlier this month that during the investigation, after victims identified their recovered stolen property, charges were filed against the suspect. He said information on how Grotberg was identified as a suspect is being withheld and as the investigation continues more charges will be filed against Grotberg.

Thompson said anyone with additional information in these storage unit burglaries is asked to contact the Valley City police department at 845-3110.
