(NewsDakota.com) With the calender close to mid-August, the time is just around the corner for the start of high school football and volleyball in the state of North Dakota.
Oakes High School starts football practice a little after 6 in the morning on Wednesday August 14, and volleyball starts their first practice on Monday afternoon, August the 19th.
Students who wish to participate in either sport need to have physicals completed by the first practice. Forms are available at the Oakes High School office.
The first football contest for Oakes is Friday August 30 on the road at Britton-Hecla South Dakota, and the first volleyball match is Tuesday September 3 versus Richland County.
