N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Starting next week, construction will begin on the Jamestown sanitary sewer project.

Starting Monday, July 22, construction will start in the area of 3rd Ave NW and 5th Street NW. During this time, 3rd Ave NW will be closed in the area of 5th Street NW.

There may be a partial lane closure on 5th Street NW. However, 5th Street NW will remain open. Also on Monday, construction will begin on the 600 to 900 blocks of 4th Avenue NW. Pavement removal and street closures are expected on Tuesday, July 23.

Motorists are asked to slow down in construction areas, use caution and watch for workers and equipment. The west parking lot of the Jamestown Business center is closed. People are asked to use the south or east doors. The Jamestown Business Center is located at 300 2nd Ave NE.
