(NewsDakota.com)  Last night Post 25 traveled to Steele to play Kidder County for a double header in Section 2.  Carrington won both games, 8-6 in the first game and 9-3 in the second.  Carrington improves to 18-10-1 overall and 7-4 in Section 2, Steele is 3-8 in Section 2.

In the first game, Peter Henson was the winning pitcher going five innings for Carrington, Logan Clifton relieved him in the sixth to pick up the save.  Brady Smith hit a 3-run home run.  Steele Post 231 hit a grand slam as well.

In the second game, Marcus Hewitt was the winning pitcher and Peter Henson hit a home run for Post 25.

Ellendale Post 30 forfeited to Carrington for tonight’s game, so Carrington Post 25 is now 19-10-1 overall and 8-4 in Section 2.  

The last game of the regular season for Carrington will be tomorrow night in Carrington against Nelson County starting at 4:45pm pregame on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com
