DAKOTA (NewsDakota.com) – One Presidential Disaster Declaration has been issued for North Dakota, and evaluation crews are assessing a possible second.

FEMA spokesman Tim Tyson says crews are working with the counties as their recovery continues. He says teams are also looking at flood damage from storms that occurred after May 17th.

Tyson says the assessment teams are looking at damage to public infrastructure. He says at this point there has been no mention of possible individual assistance provisions in the declarations. Tyson says the assessment process is about half-way finished, although no timeline has been set for completion.
