(NewsDakota.com)  In section two Legion baseball yesterday at Carrington City Park, Carrington swept Steele 11-1 and 5-4.  Carrington improves to 10-7 overall and 4-2 in section two, Kidder County drops to 2-7 overall and 2-3 in section two.

In the first game, Patrick Freeman had 10 strikeouts and allowed only one walk as Carrington won by 10 run rule in the bottom of the fifth inning 11-1.  Taylor Skytland was 3-for-4 at the plate with a stolen base.  Peter Henson was 3-for-3 with a ground rule double in the bottom of the fifth.  Austin Hewitt was 4-for-4 with two RBI and two stolen bases.  

Nick Thomas was the losing pitcher for Kidder County, giving up 14 hits, no strikeouts, no walks.
