CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Barnes County Relay for Life will have a new look in downtown Valley City while maintaining the traditional ceremonies associated with the popular American Cancer Society event.

Co-event coordinator Lisa McCulloch said volunteers to help fill “Luminaria Bags” should report to the parking lot north of the Open Door Center garage (the old Geisler building) Thursday at 5:30pm. She said volunteers will be needed to help place the bags on the sidewalk path for the event in downtown Valley City beginning at 3:30 pm Friday. McCulloch said we appreciate your support with the Barnes County Relay For Life.

Everyone is encouraged to attend the 14th annual Barnes County Relay for Life event along Central Avenue in downtown Valley City Friday, June, 21 from 6pm to Midnight.
