N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A man was reported AWOL from the Jamestown State Hospital on Wednesday afternoon.

“We were notified at about 1:30 p.m.” states Corporal Robert Schlenvogt with the Jamestown Police Department.

The man, who’s name was not released, just left the hospital and did not notify hospital employees.

“It would be like any other hospital patient checking in anywhere else.” stated Corporal Schlenvogt

He was found about 45 minutes later by staff members near the Dairy Queen.
