CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Lisbon and Valley City are gearing up to procure funding for another round in the flood buyout process with the State Water Commission.

Valley City commissioner Matt Pedersen says the second buyout phase involves some $11.6 million dollars for Valley City and nearly $9 million for the city of Lisbon.

Valley City Commissioner Mary Lee Nielson will represent the city at the next State Water Commission meeting set for June 19.
