CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A number of people attended the dedication ceremony for the newly renovated water fountain in City Park on May, 10 2012 with smiles on their faces. This year the same people were disgusted to see vandals do what vandals do best destroy a beautiful piece of property.

A number of dedicated people in the community worked hard and donated their money to get the city park water fountain renovated over a two year period and it was destroyed in a matter of minutes.

Those responsible may never be known but anyone with information in this act of vandalism is asked to contact the Valley City police department at 845-3110.
