(NewsDakota.com)- Fargo South’s Josh Verghis is coming to Jamestown College to continue his football career this fall. Verghis is a versatile offensive weapon that will play lots of different positions with the Jimmies according to Head Coach Shawn Frank. 

Joining Verghis on the latest list of Jimmie recruits are; WR Dezmund Pettigrew from Fontana, Calif., DE Steve David from Rowland Heights, Calif., SS Preston Peglow from Kimball, Minn., and OL Jarvis Perry from Columbus, GA.

The Jimmies open up their season on August 23rd in Miles City, MT where they will take on Rocky Mountain College. Their home opener will be the following Saturday when they host the Valley City State Vikings.
