CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Sheyenne River is higher but it will start to slowly recede as the outflows at Bald Hill Dam will be reduced according to Resource Manager Rich Schuenman. He says Lake Ashtabula reached the summer pool level Wednesday morning of 1266 feet.
Schueneman says the river level in Valley City will be lower on Thursday.
Valley City Administrator David Schelkoph reminded city residents to be careful and near the fast moving river.
