N.D. (AP) – Flood waters have receded on Interstate 94 near Jamestown, but other roadways in North Dakota remain threatened by heavy rains.

State Transportation Department officials say there is water on N.D. Highway 200 near Bowdon in the central part of the state, and they’re urging drivers to slow down in that area. 

The department also says there is the possibility of flash flooding on roadways in the northeastern part of the state over the next couple of days. Water was reported on state Highway 32 near Mountain on Monday.

On Sunday, water about a foot deep poured over Interstate 94 near Jamestown, reduced vehicle speeds and sweeping two semitrailers off the road. No injuries were reported.
