CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) There’s one day in the spring Jefferson Elementary students look forward to and that’s the annual “Field Days.”

Jefferson elementary teacher Nancy Ost made good on a bet with her students when she ate an earth worm before the entire student body to kick off the event on Friday.

The annual “Field Days” event was moved inside the Youth Sports Complex Center due to the threat of rain this year.
