CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) It was another good legislative session for Valley City State as the University received most of the .6 million dollar request. The lion’s share of the money will be used to renovate Vangstad. President Dr. Steve Shirley. He says some of the money will be used to stabilize a hill near the university campus.
Two years ago the legislature appropriated nearly $11 million for an addition to the Rhoades Science Center. A ribbon cutting ceremony for the new addition is tentatively set for September.
