(NewsDakota.com) The push through the post-season begins Friday for the LaMoure-Litchville/Marion baseball team, as they head to Casselton for the start of the Class B Region I Tournament.

The Loboes finished as the #5 seed out of the six teams in the region, and will face the #4 seeded Enderlin/Maple Valley Falcons in the opening round. The two teams met back on April 30 in Enderlin, with the Falcons edging out a 6-5 victory in 11 innings.

The winner will play the #1 seeded Central Cass Squirrels 20 minutes after, while the loser’s next game will come around 3 p.m. on Saturday in Enderlin against the loser of #3 Kindred/Richland and #6 Hankinson-Fairmount. This year’s tournament is double-elmination.
