(NewsDakota.com)- The abbreviated spring sports season will begin wrapping up nearly as quickly as it began. The WDA tennis tournament starts today in Bismarck.
The Jays are the No. 6-seed and will play No. 3-seed Minot High. The Jamestown girls will try to punch their ticket to the state tournament. Kara Fix and Erin Mullowney will continue to lead the Jays as their top two singles players.
The baseball and softball teams will play host to Century this afternoon. Both teams will play in double-headers with the first pitch thrown around 4:30pm.
The baseball team can lock up the No. 3-seed in the WDA tournament with a win in one of the two contests. Both games will be conference tilts.
Head Coach Kelley Kessler will more than likely send Sean Hogan and Joey Gebhardt to the hill today in search of a sweep.
