CITY (NewsDakota.com) – Jared Lentz shot an 84 to lead the Hi-Liner boys golf team in windy conditions Monday during a meet at Grand Forks King’s Walk.

As a team, Valley City took 10th place at the EDC meet with a team total of 390. Fargo Shanley won the meet with a 327. The windy conditions led to higher team scores pretty much across the board compared to a meet at King’s Walk back on May 6.  

Three players tied for medalist honors Monday with a 79: Riley Johnson of West Fargo, Grady Meyer of Shanley, and Ty Kennedy of Grand Forks Central.

Lentz led Valley City with an 84. Dustin Miller fired an 87. He was followed by Levi Nix with a 103, Drew Oberlander with a 106, and Ian Schweitzer with a 108.
