The Cardinals traveled up to Tolna for their first road game of the shortened season.  Carrington held on and beat Dakota Prairie by a final score of 7-6.  The Cards improve to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in Region Three, Dakota Prairie drops to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in Region Three.

Carrington led at one point 6-0, but the Knights came back to tie it at six apiece at the end of six.  The Cards scored the winning run during the top of the seventh inning and that’s all they would need as they held Dakota Prairie scoreless in the last of the seventh inning.  Patrick Freeman gets the win in relief, he went two in a half innings allowing only two hits, no runs and struck-out five.  Brady Smith went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and Taylor Skytland was 2-for-3.  Logan Clifton was the starting pitcher and threw 104 pitches.
