CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Valley City Schools received official confirmation from the Governor’s office that the request to waive the make-up day requirement for the April 15th storm day has been approved.
Superintendent Dean Koppelman said parents and students can plan their daily schedule through the end of the school year thanks to the waiver.
Koppelman reminded the public that the annual staff social/recognition program on Wednesday night will start at 5 PM inside the Hi-Liner Activity Center lobby.
A number of people will be recognized during the program including several people who are retiring at the end of the school year, Karen Christianson, Mike Watterson, Fred Fritel, Kerry Eggert, Kathy Laumb, Wayne Denault and Jeanne Johnsen who will retire effective September 13th.
