Mark McKenzie(NewsDakota.com)…After spending the first three weeks of the season on the road, the Blue Jays girls volleyball team finally had a chance to play at home. Bismarck Century sent the home crowd home unhappy, as the Patriots picked up a straight set victory over the Jays on Tuesday night at Jerry Meyer Arena, 19-25, 16-25, and 12-25.

Century tops the WDA with a 10-1 record, and 4-0 in conference play. The Blue Jays fall to 6-5 over-all and 1-3 in the West Region. McKayla Orr ahd 18 digs, Steph Kropp seven kills, and Josie Hegerle came up with 11 assits.

Jamestown will remain home for it’s next match, as the Jays will host Mandan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday night at Jerry Meyer Arena.
