CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Valley City Rural Fire Department is hosting a “District Conversion Signature Drive” Thursday, May 2 inside the Valley City Fire Hall from 9am to 3pm.

Property owners who reside in Alta, Ashtabula, Cuba, Getchell, Grand Prairie, Green, Hobart Marsh, Norma, Nelson, Noltmier, Skandia (sections 1-18) Stewart and Valley are eligible to sign.

Valley City Rural Fire Chief Gary Retterath and Valley City Rural Fire Department board president Peter Paulson will be on hand to answer any question eligible rural residents may have about the conversion process and cost from 9am to 3pm Thursday inside the Valley City Fire Hall. Hot dogs will be served from 11am to 1pm.
