CITY (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City will be host to hundreds of youth soccer players during the Kohl’s U.S. Youth Soccer American Cup at Hi-Line and Hannah fields on May 11.

The Kohl’s Cup series is billed as the largest recreational youth soccer tournament series in the United States.

The tournament on May 11 will feature Under-6 through Under-12 youth soccer teams from the region playing on 10 different fields. About 60 teams and 500 or more players are expected to attend. It is the 14th annual Kohl’s Cup in Valley City, and is hosted by the Sheyenne Valley Soccer Association.

The tournament also features three larger-than-life inflatable soccer games, numerous prizes and souvenirs for participants and their families.
