(NewsDakota.com)- Former West Fargo standout Andy Young has made his presence felt on the Jimmies from Day 1 and yesterday he delivered in extra innings to give JC a 3-2 win in the opening game against Dickinson. Young’s solo homer in the 12th innings was the decisive run. 

In the night cap Jakob Ohmann and Mitch Stevens homered to give the Jimmies a 5-3 win. Ohmann homered in a 3-3 tie game and it turned out to be the difference as the Jimmies improved to 21-9 on the season.

Nick Smart got the win in relief in game one and Paul Roers took the decision in game two going five innings.

Jamestown is scheduled to play four games will Valley City St. this weekend, where they are going to be play is still up in the air for the moment.
