Mark McKenzie(NewsDakota.com)…The Jimmie golf teams have put together a string of successful meets this Fall, and that trend continued at the Blue Hawk Invite in Dickinson. This two day event came to a close on Monday, with the men taking first place, and the ladies ended up in foruth place.
The Jimmie men shot a 598 to win the meet, and Tommy Rockis took the medalist honor with a 146. Teammate Brad Quast finished third with a 151, and Kirk Bietz and Kameron Hunter tied for fourth, which each shooting a 152.
In the womens division, Jamstown placed fourth with a 785. Black Hills State won the meet with a 674. Individually, Kelsey Ross had the top score for the Jimmies with a 167, good enough for third place. Tracy Gustufson came in eighth for Jamestown with a 180.
The Jimmie invite will take place this weekend. Due to flooding issues at Jamestown Country Club, the meet has been moved to Crossroads Golf Course in Carrington.
