N.D. (NewsDakota.com) An icy stretch of Interstate 94 between Jamestown and Valley City cause a number of traffic crashes on Monday afternoon.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol said a Florida man escaped serious injury after he rolled his 1996 Toyota 4-Runner. The driver 19-year-old James Morrell of Baker, Florida was not injured.

The Highway Patrol and deputies from the Stutsman and Barnes County Sheriff’s office assisted the patrol and responded to five crashes on that stretch of Interstate 94 between 4pm and 6pm on Monday.
