Aileen Bergquist, 84, of Jamestown, ND, died Friday, April 5, 2013 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

     Aileen Joyce Bergquist was born on September 1, 1928, in Dickinson, ND, the daughter of Oscar and Iva (Olson) Bergquist. She graduated from Belfield High School in 1946. Aileen then worked for the Belfield News office until moving to Jamestown where she began her employment with Melland’s, Inc. in 1951. She later worked for Hird’s Implement from 1982 until 1985, then Vance’s Plumbing, and Walter and Lydia Maas rentals. Aileen retired in 1994.

     She attended United Presbyterian Church and was a long time member of the Sons of Norway, Jamestown. Aileen was an avid bowler and square-dancer.

     Aileen is survived by nephews, Jerry Bergquist, Jamestown, Mike (Kris) Bergquist, Jamestown; niece, Pat Umsted, Lewistown, MT; grand nieces and nephews, Ross Bergquist, Fargo, Rachel (Nick Cichos) Bergquist, Jamestown, John (Rhonda) Umsted, Helena, MT, Pete (Carey) Umsted, Helena, MT, Kate (Jim) Wier, Lewistown, MT; and several great grand nieces and nephews and a great-great grand niece.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Lyell and an infant brother, Dean.

     Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at the United Presbyterian Church, Jamestown, with Rev. John Rhoad officiating.

     Visitation: 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

     Prayer Service: 7:00 pm. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

     Interment: Belfield Cemetery, Belfield, ND.
