N.D. (NewsDakota.com) North Dakota Senator Heidi Heitkamp will host a discussion session focused on housing issues in the state this week in Valley City and Fargo.

North Dakota will work with community and industry leaders to seek solutions. Heitkamp said, ” Western North Dakota is seeing almost constant changes due to the oil boom, but equally important are the other areas of the state that face challenges all their own. As a member of the committee that oversees housing policy, I’m in a unique position to address rural housing needs and advocate on behalf of North Dakotans.”

Heitkamp will hold a discussion session Thursday in Valley City at the Regional Technology Center at 10am. On Friday she’ll be in Fargo in the city hall commission room at 10:30am.
