N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Certified Heartland Chevy Dealers — 20 Chevrolet dealers in the Fargo area — have created the Chevy Scholarship Program to help deserving students accomplish their goals for higher education. Wilhelm Chevrolet of Jamestown is one of the 20 participating in the program.
Local high school juniors and seniors looking to looking to pursue their goals with the help of higher education nominated themselves or were nominated by someone, else for the chance to earn a $5,000 scholarship or one of nine other $500 awards.
Jamestown High School senior Charlotte Rasmussen is one of the ten nominees, among the following others from around the state:

Thomas Runnels, Senior, Warroad High School
Isaac Loegering, Senior, Crookston High School
Josh Colemer, Senior, Concordia
Jessica Lancaster, Senior, Red River High School/University of North Dakota
Derek Lehman, Senior, Sargent Central Public School
Carly Bertsch, Senior, Ronald N. Davies High School
Courtney Black, Senior, Bemidji High School
Public voting for a winner began Monday (18th) and will run through April 1st on Facebook at www.facebook.com/certifiedheartlandchevydealers. Votes can be cast once per day during that time period and the winner will be announced on April 8th.
