FORKS, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A new flood forecast shows a 90 percent chance that the Red River in Fargo Moorhead will near major flood stage of 30-feet.
There’s only a 5 percent change the river will surpass 38 feet. To put things into perspective, in 2009, the Red in Fargo Moorhead crested at just under 41-feet.

Kellenbenz says the flood forecast is subject to change if the regions receives heavy snow or heavy rain fall before or during the spring melt.
