Arlys Denning, 76, of Edgeley, ND, died Monday, March 4, 2013 at Sheyenne Care Center, Valley City, ND

     Arlys was born on June 15, 1936, in Wishek, ND, the daughter of John and Florence (Ulmer) Wetzel. She was baptized on August 1, 1936 at the Evangelical Church and attended rural schools. Arlys married Leon Denning at the Fredonia Congregational Church on November 3, 1955. They lived in Lehr, ND for one year then moved to Edgeley where their home has been since. She worked for several Edgeley businesses, including the Super 8, Burgercade, and the Edgeley Coffee Shop. Arlys was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Edgeley.

     Arlys is survived by one daughter, Deborah (LaVerne) Anderson, Edgeley; three sons, Dale (Charlene) and Darvin (Cheri), both of Bismarck, ND and Dernel (Tracy) of Jamestown; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and nine siblings, Darlene, Barlow, Clayton, Gertie, Gordon, Howard, Harvey, Jan, and Wilma.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one sister in infancy.

     Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Zion Lutheran Church, Edgeley with Pastor Alan Eppen officiating.

     Visitation: 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2013 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley.

     Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2013 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley.

     Interment: Mt. Hope Cemetery, Edgeley.
