
ELKHART, IN – University of Jamestown senior divers Jada Shorter and Becky Czarnecki earned All-American status at the NAIA Swimming & Diving Championships, which concluded Saturday at the Elkhart Health & Aquatics Center.
Shorter was second in the 1 meter competition with a score of 216.65 and fifth in the 3 meter event with 164.95. Shorter is a five-time All-American, including four times in 1m and the 2023 national championship.
Czarnecki, making her first national meet appearance, was sixth in 1m at 166.75.
Kylie Price was the other Jimmie in the national meet, finishing 30th of 48 swimmers in the 50 free with a time of 24.86 and 30th of 44 in the 100 free at 54.22.
