VALLEY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The driver of a U.S. Postal Office vehicle was injured in a two vehicle crash on Wednesday, February 26th in Valley City.

Police Chief Nick Horner said the impact from the crash ejected the U.S. Postal worker from his vehicle. The U.S. Postal vehicle went over a curb striking a home in Valley City.

Horner said an SUV traveling northbound on 7th Avenue Southwest and a U.S. Postal vehicle traveling eastbound on 2nd Street Southwest collided at the intersection.

The Postal worker was transported to Mercy Hospital in Valley City and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the SUV was no injured in the crash.

Horner said the home struck by the vehicle sustained minor damage. He said anyone with additional information concerning this crash should call the Valley City Police Department at 845-3110.
